For smaller coins, most have a rosette added either on the obverse before the legend for silver, or for base metal coins, on the reverse below the mint mark or above the denomination. There are several ways of identifying an Artex restrike. Most had 1,000 pieces struck, but some had very few (even in the single digits) or up to several thousand struck.
